Re-launching the Bear Naked  (12 July 2008)

Well the first day back out on the river was interesting to say the least. It started with Nate and Dave ringing the giant church bells after church in Fort Madison. Nate and Dave rang the bells and then climbed through a trap door, that they probably weren't supposed to, to climb to the top of the church steeple. Then we launched and things were totally different then the first week on the river. Lots of people on the river this time, most of which came up to Bear Naked and talked for a while. We decided to tie up in Keokuk for the night just above the lock so that we could hit it fresh in the morning.
